RAPID CITY, South Dakota - (08/30/04) -- Students in the district's fourneediest schools were provided pencils, paper, crayons and otherschool supplies last week, courtesy of Black Hills FCU. The creditunion's sixth annual school supply drive helped buy supplies foralmost 2,400 students in the Rapid City School District. Thesupplies were provided through donation boxes at three of thecredit union's offices and at local businesses like Office Depot,Boyd's Drug Mart, Shopko and Wal-Mart. Cash donation of $3,540,including $1,50 raised during the credit union's summer campingpackage raffle, helped pay for the additional supplies.
