Service CU Supplies Local Students With School Supplies

ROCHESTER, N.H. – Service CU made a presentation of school supplies to the Rochester School District principals and superintendent at the School Board meeting last week that included more than 500 sets of colored pencils, markers, scissors, pencil cases, binders, tissues, hand sanitizer and spiral notebooks.

The credit union also presented 100 backpacks for elementary students.

"Service Credit Union has two branches in Rochester and is committed to serving this community and its schools," said Gordon Simmons, president of the $1.7 billion credit union.. "We stress financial education in the schools and have brought our Money Mammals program to help coach the students about how to manage money. We are very pleased to be a part of brining financial education to the communities where we work and live."
