LAKELAND, Fla. - (05/02/06) A lengthy extra-inning gamelast Friday on Community First CU Night at the ballpark preventedthe Lakeland Tigers from going for the world record of biggest gameof Simon Says, but the minor league affiliate of theDetroit Tigers plans to go for the record again on June 17. The300-or-so fans remaining after the game did go down on the field toplay the traditional game, with the winner walking away with a$1,000 prize, courtesy of the $90 million credit union. The Tigersand Community First CU hope to attract enough fans at the next tryto top the 971 participants currently listed in the Guinness Bookof World Records as the biggest game ever of Simon Says.
