COWWW Software, a provider of web-based archiving, retrieval, and document distribution solutions for credit unions, has provided the $572-million American First Credit Union with its COLD/Imaging and Retrieval solution, saving the credit union $100,000 on building a cumbersome filing center to store loan records, the company said. As a result, La Habra, Calif.-based American First, located in La Habra, Calif., has saved costs not only in building the filing center but also eliminating the need to hire staff to maintain it. The credit union has also enhanced its back-office operation efficiencies using COWWW's technology, providing better member service, the company added.
"Additionally, American First's members have even been empowered by being able to access numerous documents online, such as loan papers, tax documents, check images, and e-statements from a single sign-on feature via its home banking solution," it said.
