DALLAS - (03/25/05) -- Southwest Corporate FCU said it isone of the first financial institutions to provide check imagecapture with full truncation from branch offices of credit unions.The new service, called branch capture, allows credit unions toscan checks at the branch and send the data directly to SouthwestCorporate's central data processing site. The service, an outgrowthof the new Check 21 law, is aimed at giving credit unions fasteraccess to their funds and can also help reduce checkfraud.
