PUEBLO, Colo. – SunWest Educational CU and Starbucks will have their own separate drive-thru lanes at the credit union’s newest branch.
The $80 million credit union leased a portion of its new building, 2,000 feet, to the coffee company, so now each has its own drive-thru window on opposite sides of the branch.
The deal not only brings new customers for both businesses, but lets credit union members relax with a coffee drink while waiting to do their financial transactions.
The 7,000 square-foot branch has four drive-thru lanes, each with a video screen, and cost the credit union $2.1 million to build.
