Suspect Captured in Murder of CU Member at the ATM

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Police arrested a man suspected of shooting to death a 30-year-old seaman while he tried to make a cash withdrawal from the Langley FCU ATM last spring.

Police believe the suspect, identified as David Runyon, climbed into the backseat of the car while Cory Voss drove up to the ATM, then forced Voss to try several transactions at the ATM, but none of them were successful. Voss drove away from the ATM at gunpoint and his bullet-riddled body was found behind the wheel of his pick-up truck the following morning in an adjacent parking lot.
