ELMONT, N.Y. – A local man was charged with using stolen identities and personal information of several individuals to obtain consumer loans of $86,000 from Bethpage FCU, Nassau Financial CU and Nassau Educators FCU.
Marcel Bristol, 54, was charged with four counts of grand larceny, five counts of forgery, two counts of identity theft and one count of possession of a forged instrument.
Bristol allegedly opened accounts and lines of credit at the three credit unions from June 12 to Sept. 1 using the names of other people.
