PONTE VEDRA, Fla. - (04/06/05) -- Global Axcess Corp., which operatesa growing network of 2,700 ATMs used by more than a dozen smallcredit unions, said it more than doubled net income for its fiscalyear to $1.1 million, or 14 cents a share, based partly on a 36%rise in revenues to $13.9 million. Almost half of the gain in netincome, or $540,000, was due to a non-cash gain associated with aprovision for income tax benefit. Financial results for thecompany's fiscal fourth quarter were not disclosed. The company,which operates the co-branded ATMs for credit unions and communitybanks through its 'Branded Cash' program, recently launched aprepaid debit card program it calls 'Easy Green'.
