The company unveiled the new application at the recent XP2 Education and Technology Forum, demonstrating how it has turned loan and account origination into a fully paperless process.

"Currently, community bank and credit union staff work with applicants to complete loan or account origination documents on a computer using TotaleAtlas, then print them out for the potential borrower to review," Nish Shah, IMM's chief techonology officer explained in a statement. "The iPad application ensures that it is a truly paperless process because the applicant can review the documents on the tablet, sign directly on the iPad and electronically complete the process."

When the documents are completed with the applicant's signature, they are secured into a non-editable PDF with 128-bit encryption and uploaded to the financial institution's core system.
