SCFCU Unveils New Website

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.-South Carolina FCU recently unveiled a new website to enhance its brand of being "Life Simplified" for its members.

"The new, streamlined design and features including branch and ATM locators and financial calculators will create an enhanced, simplified, experience for the member," said Brandon Manus, the CU's Virtual Experience Manager.

Along with the updated design for its regular site, the $1.3-billion institution also revamped its mobile site. The mobile site now used a linked instead of a tabbed design to allow for better use by Blackberries and web-enabled phones. South Carolina FCU also fired up a Facebook page and Twitter account this summer to provide additional touchpoints.

UTFCU Launches iPhone, iPad App

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.-UTFCU has released a new iPhone and iPad application, which provides all standard online banking services. Members can check balances, transfer cash and view activity, but the new app also includes a branch locator with exact directions from any location. It also provides access to various media outlets including UTFCU Twitter posts, videos of the CU's recent activities and news updates. Members can get the new application from the iTunes Store at no charge.

 

MACU Adds Android Application

SALT LAKE CITY-Mountain America CU here is growing its mobile banking service suite with a new application for Android phones. The free app allows members to check account balances, review transactions, transfer funds and mull balance graphs. To get the application, just visit the Market at www.android.com/market.

 

Golden 1 Offers App For iPhone, iPad

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-The Golden 1 CU has made a new iPhone and iPad application available to members this summer. The $7.6 billion institution said that its new app will help "provide out members with exceptional service" and give members the opportunity to access accounts "on their terms." The app is available for free from the iTunes App Store.
