TEMPLE, Texas — Texell CU announced that it now offers insurance services through its affiliate Texell Financial LLC.
The new offering, which debuted last week, is staffed by licensed, local insurance agents who can meet with members in person or over the phone to offer a complete line of insurance solutions from top-rated carriers.
Available products include home and auto insurance, as well as coverage for businesses, pets, weddings and vacations.
Tony Hale, Texell CUs CEO and Texell Financial's executive director, noted that, "It makes sense that the same place members trust for the best rates on loans would also be the best place for insurance."
Texell CU has 30,000 members, $223 million in assets and seven branches throughout Central Texas.
