SALEM, Ore. - (09/16/04) -- A member of Oregon Territory FCU wasresting easier after a city employee found a $15,000 check made outto him--blowing along the sidewalk inside an envelope. Since thecheck was drawn on the credit union, the finder brought it over tosee if credit union officials could track down the owner. Therecipient apparently did not know it was missing and was inside alocal bank ready to deposit it when he was notified of the missingcheck.
