NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. - (05/05/05) -- In a new twist on credit unionrobberies, a team of thieves disarmed the phone and alarm lines atthe Jax FCU branch early Monday morning and made off with thecredit union's entire vault. Police believe the robbers loaded thefive-foot by three-foot vault on a dolly, then rolled it out theback door, before loading it on to a stolen truck with a lift. Thevault is believed to have contained at least $5,000 incash.
