Ann Bryson admitted to one count of bank embezzlement after investigators said she wrote checks and money orders from Good Samaritan Employees Credit Union, where she worked from 1998 to 2005.

The 63-year-old Bryson used the stolen funds to pay for personal expenses, investigators said.

Bryson admitted to using several methods to manipulate records in the credit union's ledgers to evade detection.

She is scheduled to be sentenced July 1.
