WATERBURY, Ct. - (05/23/05) -- About 4,000 members of Need ActionCU will have to wait weeks before getting access to their savingsafter the board of the $2-million credit union voted to close downThursday, one of just a handful of voluntary liquidations thisyear. A sign posted on the credit union's door last week said nowithdrawals could be made but loan payments were still expected ontime. Members were meeting Friday night to decide whether toapprove the board's action.
