WYANDOTTE, Mich. – Wyandotte FCU said it has agreed to merge with Trenton FCU to create a $140 million credit union called Shore to Shore Community FCU. The field of membership will run from the southshore of the Trenton Channel of Lake Erie at Trenton, to the north shore of the channel at Wyandotte.
Both credit unions are healthy and reported net income for the first six months of the year.
The merger is expected to be completed by Oct. 1.
