BOULDER, Colo. - (06/01/06) -- U of C FCU, chartered around theUniversity of Colorado at the Rocky Mountain foothills, changed itsname Wednesday to Elevations CU. Officials with the $700 millioncredit union said the old name no longer reflected the full scopeand diversity of the membership. In addition, the old name createdthe impression that only people associated with the University ofColorado were eligible to join.
