FORT WORTH, Texas – Unity One CU has implemented MShift’s new mobile deposits capability through Ensenta Technology.
“We have had Internet-based remote deposit for some time, but in our first three weeks after adding mobile deposit we have seen a 40% increase in the number of items deposited remotely and we’ve also seen our mobile usage go up by 65% in that same timeframe,” said Scott Ward, chief operating officer for the $180-million credit union. “Obviously this is a great convenience to our members, but the operational efficiencies we are seeing in the administration of MShift’s mobile deposit makes this a great solution for our credit union, too.”
Ensenta said its Mobile Deposit service is integrated into MShift’s Mobile Banking Apps through a single sign-on and allows users the convenience of making a secure deposit by taking a picture of the check with their smart phone or tablet. Ensenta’s mobile remote deposit application uses patented technology from Mitek Systems, Inc.
The Ensenta remote deposit suite includes Agile Risk Management, which the company said enables financial institutions to mitigate risk in real time across all points of deposit capture.
