SAN MATEO, California - (04/13/06) -- U.S. First CU said state regulatorsapproved its conversion to a community charter serving almost twomillions residents in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties.The $120 million credit union will continue to serve more than 200select groups after converting the community field of membership.The 68-year-old credit union operates two direct branches and is amember of the Financial Services Centers shared branchnetwork.
