Wescom CU Plans New Anaheim Operation

Wescom Credit Union said it has acquired a four-story, 117,523 square-foot office building in nearby Anaheim where it plans to open an administration center.

The $2.5-billion credit union plans to employ 300 people, and as many as 500 down the road, at the site, which will be used for auto, consumer and mortgage lending and to provide some back-up for disaster recovery.

It will also house the credit union's insurance services, and a telephone call center. Wescom paid $17.4 million for the building.
