MUSKEGO, Wis. — Jim Schrimpf has retired from his position on the board of directors at Corporate Central CU here, with Jay Magulski set to take his place on the corporate CU's board.
Schrimpf joined the Corporate Central board in 2009, serving as both treasurer and secretary. He joined the credit union industry in 1978 as an employee at Allen-Bradley Employees CU and has served as president of the Milwaukee Metro CU Chapter and as a director for the Wisconsin CU League. Schrimpf has also retired from his post as CEO of Brewery CU in Milwaukee, which he has held since 2009. He is succeeded at Brewery CU by former SVP Steve Janssen.
In a statement Corporate Central commended Schrimpf's "outstanding volunteer service and dedication. His contributions to Corporate central and the credit union industry as a whole have been many and significant."
Jay Magulski, president and CEO of New Berlin, Wis.-based Landmark CU, is set to fill the vacant position on the Corporate Central board.
