Workers’ CU Signs With COCC For Core Processing

FITCHBURG, Mass. Workers’ CU has selected COCC as its provider of core processing software.

The $940-million credit union will begin using Insight, a processing system co-developed by COCC and its former rival Open Solutions and licensed by COCC. Open Solutions, which now is owned by Fiserv, calls the product DNA. COCC and Fiserv jointly handle the programming tasks of keeping the software up to date.

The company said the platform provides real-time processing using a single database, as well as extensions to the system’s core functions called Apps. COCC is the largest reseller of Apps built on the platform.

This February, COCC hired a marketing head from Open Solutions and teamed up with Online Resources Corp. to deliver a digital banking platform for community banks and credit unions.
