'Great Journalism' In WesCorp Reporting

The Credit Union Journal's powerful recent news coverage and analysis of the Western Corporate Federal Credit Union (Wes-Corp) in the July 23 issue and corporate credit union crisis saga totally captured my attention.

Not only was it great journalism, but it also served as a public service to the credit union industry. There were many painful but valuable lessons to be learned from the WesCorp situation.

The high-level overview that was provided by the Credit Union Journal helped to put it all in context-adding to the publication's long history of assisting us to get our arms around all of the relevant issues. Keep it coming!
