Aberdeen Proving Ground FCU, Edgewood, Md., hosted its 11th annual Community Invitational tournament for local youth softball and baseball teams at the Ripken Youth Baseball Academy in Aberdeen.

Xceed Financial CU, El Segundo, Calif., awarded 11 young members with $1,000 college scholarships.
Alabama
Alabama CU awarded Tuscaloosa resident Linda Southern an in-home safe room valued at approximately $4,800 after she won the CU's Play It Safe Shelter Giveaway.

More than 200 financial education supporters participated in the second annual Minnesota Credit Union Foundation (MnCUF) Financial Literacy 5K.
City County
City & County CU, St. Paul, Minn., taught financial literacy to teens during Ramsey County Library's Teen Tech Camp.
TopLine
TopLine FCU, Maple Grove, Minn., offered financial education to students attending Hennepin Technical College's GEAR UP Summer Camp.
United Heritage
In Austin, Texas, United Heritage CU's fifth annual Auto Raffle to benefit the United Heritage Charity Foundation raised $65,887. Grady Bell from The Woodlands, Texas won a new 2015 Honda Civic LX Sedan from Howdy Honda.
Teachers
Teachers FCU, Hauppauge, N.Y., held a peanut butter and jelly drive at each of its 25 branches in support of The Welcome INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network). In addition to the many jars of peanut butter and jelly donated, Team TFCU raised $750 for The Welcome INN.
Jeanne
Jeanne D'Arc CU, Lowell, Mass., donated $1,000 to Mill City Grows, an organization dedicated to fostering food justice by improving physical health, economic independence and environmental sustainability.
DuPont
DuPont Community CU, based in Waynesboro, Va., opened its third location in Harrisonburg, Va.
LBS
LBS Financial CU, Long Beach, Calif., will celebrate its 80th anniversary on Sept. 13. It is giving back to the community via its "Summer Acts of Kindness" series, with community sponsorships, beach cleanups, a pet vaccination and microchip clinic, and more.
Georgia United
Georgia United CU, Duluth, Ga., completed its second-annual School Crashers school improvement project, as a team of volunteers provided facility and grounds improvements for Woodward Elementary School in Atlanta.
TDECU
In Lake Jackson, Texas, TDECU Mortgage is hitting the streets to share how it can help home buyers save thousands of dollars when buying a new home. The TDECU Mortgage Vehicle was created to make appearances in the markets where TDECU operates.
ANECA
ANECA FCU, Shreveport, La., paid for every customer's order at a local Starbucks for 90 minutes. Each person was given a small card that said, "Compliments of ANECA
Pay it Forward #theANECAway."
Fire Relief
Two CUs in Northern California are helping with fire relief efforts. In Eureka, Coast Central CU is matching up to $2,500 in community donations in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties. In Santa Rosa, Redwood CU is accepting contributions to assist the Lake County community.
