1st Interstate Nevada names Arnoldus CEO.

Clint Arnoldus, executive vice president and head of corporate banking at First Interstate Bank of Nevada, Las Vegas, has been named the bank's chairman and chief executive officer.

Mr. Arnoldus said the new statewide bank CEO position will enable First Interstate to better respond "to the unique market needs of Nevada."

Andy Studdert, the bank's president for southern Nevada, remains the bank's executive responsible for the southern Nevada market. His counterpart in northern Nevada, Larry Tuntland, also remains in charge of his area's market.

"Andy and Larry are closely involved in the communities they serve, and they will continue to be the bank's primary representatives in their parts of the state," said Mr. Arnoldus.

Assuming Mr. Arnoldus' former responsibilities at the bank will be Jay Kornmayer and Claire Young.

Mr. Kornmayer, based in Las Vegas, will continue to lead the bank's gaming division.

Ms. Young, stationed in Reno, will be responsible for corporate banking and corporate real estate.
