$2.9B Increase for C&I Loans

U.S. banks' commercial and industrial loans rose $2.9 billion, to about $1.270 trillion, in the week that ended April 7, the latest week for which data is available, the Federal Reserve said Friday.

That followed a $23.5 billion increase the previous week.
