The New York fraud protection software company Actimize Inc., a unit of the Israeli technology provider Nice Systems Ltd., said it has received a multimillion-dollar order from a top 5 retail banking company in the United Kingdom.

Actimize announced the deal Tuesday and said the customer, which it did not name, is already using the vendor's transaction monitoring software and plans to implement it in additional business units and to monitor more types of transactions.
Nice Systems purchased Actimize in the second quarter for $280 million. Actimize says that six of the top 10 global banking companies, as well as eight of the top 10 U.S. brokerages, are using its software.
