Aeromexico Installs Machines from NCR

Consorcio Aeromexico SA has installed 32 self-serve customer check-in kiosks from NCR Corp. at Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City.

NCR announced the installation Tuesday, and said that the Mexican airline operator is using its kiosks in seven other airports in that country.

The Dayton, Ohio, automated teller machine company has said that expanding its kiosk operations is a major strategic goal in the financial services industry and other markets. Its Vcom kiosks are installed in about 2,000 7-Eleven Inc. convenience stores, and its SelfServ line of ATMs, introduced last month, include a kiosk version that offers several advanced functions, including accepting bill payments and letting people pay municipal fines.
