After piloting an online payment network that it says guards against potential identity theft, JetPay LLC will be providing that same platform, Secure Vault Payments, to its own clients.
The Carrollton, Texas, payment service provider said it was the first e-commerce processor to join the Secure Vault Payments network along with its client, Apple Vacations.
Secure Vault Payments was created by Nacha, the Herndon, Va., electronic payments association, and eWise Systems Ltd., an online payment and personal financial management company.
We're "excited about the opportunity to work with eWise to promote this alternate form of payment in the card-not-present and e-commerce marketplace," said Todd Fuller, executive vice president of JetPay, in a Nov. 22 press release.
