Alpoint Connects to 7-Eleven's ATMs

Users of Cardtronics Inc.'s surcharge-free Allpoint Network can now use automated teller machines at 7-Eleven Inc. convenience stores for free.

Cardtronics, which bought 7-Eleven's ATM network last year, said last week that it had connected the more than 5,500 machines to Allpoint, which now has more than 32,000 machines in merchant sites nationwide.

"The addition of 7-Eleven demonstrates Allpoint's commitment to enhancing value for the member institution and convenience for the cardholder," Ben Psillas, Allpoint's founder and president, said in a press release.
