American Express Co. has made sponsorship deals designating its brand as the official card of two major entertainment venues and three professional teams, the company announced June 30.
Amex becomes the official card of both the United Center in Chicago and Miami's American Airlines Arena. Both deals provide cardholders priority access to music and entertainment events, and to regular season and playoff game tickets for National Basketball Association and National Hockey League teams at both locations.
The deals also make Amex the official card of the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat NBA teams and the Chicago Blackhawks NHL team. Cardholders will receive special offers for Bulls and Heat season tickets and to specific games, including VIP access to events and the opportunity to meet team members.
