MALVERN, Pa. American Express has begun using e-Profile, an outsourced Internet banking system from Sanchez Computer Associates Inc., to run its membership banking, which offers the products of American Express Centurion Bank via the Internet.
E-Profile supplies the front-end consumer interface and the back-end processing operations, said executive vice president Eric Panepinto.
The systems software lets membership banking give instant online approvals of account applications and lets customers gain access to other Amex accounts through the same identification and password they use for banking. The software processes money market, checking, savings, certificates of deposit, investment management, and line of credit products for membership bankings customers.
