AT&T Corp. said the SLM cell phone from Samsung Electronics Ltd. will be the first handset to ship preloaded with mobile banking software from Firethorn Holdings LLC.

The Bedminster, N.J., telcom company, the nation's largest wireless carrier, said last week that the SLM will be available for the holiday gift season, priced at of $149.99 with a two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate.
The wireless hardware and software company Qualcomm Inc. agreed this month to buy Firethorn, of Atlanta, for $210 million.
