Autonomy Corp. PLC said Monday that a major global bank has agreed to use the British vendor's compliance and regulatory software.
Autonomy, of Cambridge, announced the contract Monday. It did not name the financial company but said the multiyear deal would be worth $70 million.
Autonomy said the financial company is planning to install its archiving software throughout its global operations, to help it comply with various regulations.
The vendor said it has more than 17,000 clients worldwide in a variety of industries; its financial company customers include ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank, and the New York Stock Exchange.
