B of A Hires Wealth Management CTO

Bank of America Corp. has hired Morgan Stanley's chief information officer of enterprise infrastructure, David Reilly, away to be chief technology officer of B of A's Global Wealth and Investment Management team.

At B of A, Reilly will support strategy, architecture, design and build, operations, engagement and product delivery of technology infrastructure. Reilly will also be shared technology infrastructure executive, accountable for designing, building and operating Bank of America's enterprise technology infrastructure and operations.

Reilly is expected to begin in June. He will be based in New York and report to Bank of America Chief Technology Officer Marc Gordon.

Reilly drove desktop and server virtualization technologies and cloud computing concepts throughout Morgan Stanley.

"David is an extremely talented technology leader, and his addition will further strengthen our team as we continue driving toward enabling the bank's vision of being the world's finest financial services company," Gordon said in a press release.
