LONDON -- Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior, a Mexican institution known as BancoMext, has completed a $250 million commercial paper offering simultaneously in the United States and Euromarkets, according to the investment bank Lehman Brothers International.
The deal, which Lehman said was the first such commercial paper offering for a Mexican bank, allows for issuance in a range of currencies, including dollars, sterling, Ecus (European currency units), and Australian and Canadian dollars.
Other dealers are Banco Santander de Negocios and Nomura Securities.
