BancTec Inc., a provider of high-volume document and payment processing applications and services, announced Wednesday that it has bought DocuData Solutions, a business process outsourcer with processing centers in Dallas, Houston, and Austin.
BancTec, of Dallas, did not disclose the price. DocuData, also of Dallas, will operate as a division of BancTec and retain its name.
DocuData offers imaging, content management and media storage to a variety of industries, primarily health care, government, energy, mortgage, and general commercial businesses.
BancTec said it operates four other business process outsourcing centers in the United States and 11 in Europe.
