American Express Co. has lost its second key executive to a retail banking company in the past 10 days.
Bank of America Corp. said Thursday that it had hired Ralph Andretta to serve as global affinity products and international card executive. Andretta, who will be based in Wilmington, Del., will oversee B of A's affinity credit card and deposit products portfolio in the United States and the international credit card businesses. He will report to Susan Faulkner, the Charlotte company's deposit and card products executive.
Andretta had been an executive vice president and general manager of card member services at American Express. Last week Citigroup Inc. said it had hired Jud Linville, the former president and CEO of U.S. consumer services at American Express, as its CEO of cards.
