The Monett, Mo., technology vendor said Tuesday that the $1.3 billion-asset Bank of Florida would outsource its core data processing to a Jack Henry site using the vendor's SilverLake software.

Jack Henry says that 15% of U.S. banking companies with assets of $1 billion to $30 billion use the software.

Bank of Florida is the holding company for Bank of Florida Southwest, Bank of Florida Southeast, and Bank of Florida Tampa Bay.

"Converting all regions of our company to a common core system was clearly in the best interest of our organization, and supports our goal to continually improve operating and cost efficiencies," Peter Setaro, Bank of Florida Corp.'s executive vice president of technology and operations, said in a Jack Henry press release.
