The $222 million-asset bank also agreed to use a number of other Fidelity products, including software for check image capture, item processing, statement rendering and more, the Jacksonville, Fla., company said Tuesday.

Chartered in 2002, Bank of Virginia operates five branches in Chesterfield and Henrico counties near Richmond.

BancPac is based on Microsoft Corp.'s Windows data architecture, which runs on a financial institution's existing hardware infrastructure and requires no investment in mainframe hardware or code, Fidelity said.
