BankFirst of Winter Park, Fla., has agreed to acquire Commercial Bancorp Inc. of nearby Ormond Beach.
Commercial Bancorp is the parent of the $89.4 million-asset East Coast Community Bank.
The $605.5 million-asset BankFirst will pay an undisclosed amount of cash and stock to Commercial Bancorp shareholders, according to a Wednesday press release. The purchase should be completed in the second quarter.
