BankUnited of Miami Lakes, Fla., has promoted F. Gerard Litrento to senior vice president of retail banking.
Litrento was a manager in the bank's business lending group. Before that he had been the president of Broward County at Regions Bank in Florida since 2006. He joined Regions in 2002 as the commercial banking executive. He began his career in 1980 in the management training program at Harbor Savings Bank.
BankUnited has $10.8 billion of assets.
