On hand at the Boston Marriott hotel in Newton, Mass., were Sen. John Kerry, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, and Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, who officiated the wedding, according to the New York Times.
Frank, 72, married his long-time partner Jim Ready, 42.
The wedding's 300 guests dined on a four-course meal featuring clam chowder, vegan soba noodles and a vegetable strudel, the Times reported.
Frank, the former chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, is retiring from Congress in January.
