NEW YORK -- Steve Roth, 47, the president of Barry leeds & Associates for the past seven years, died last Thursday after a six-month bout with cancer.
Mr. Roth helped develop the bank-consulting and marketing company's mortgage-bias testing programs, which have been used by 80 lenders over the past two years.
Mr. Roth began working with the company's principal, Barry Leeds, in 1977 when the firm was formed.
Before that, he was market research manager at Chase Manhattan Bank.
He received his BA from City University and his MBA from Baruch Graduate School of Business, both in New York City.
