U.S. banks' commercial and industrial loans rose $3.6 billion to about $1.225 trillion in the week that ended Oct. 27, the latest week for which data is available, the Federal Reserve said Friday.
Jumbo certificates of deposit fell by $12 billion to about $1.783 trillion in the latest week after sliding by $7.1 billion the previous week. Revolving home equity loans fell $800,000 to $586 billion.
