Canadian CU Group Selects Misys Tools

The Winnipeg trade group Credit Union Central of Manitoba Ltd. plans to use hosted treasury and risk management software from Misys PLC to manage its $2 billion investment portfolio.

The trade group will install the Opics Plus software to keep track of its fixed income and money market investments and interest rate swaps, Misys said this week. Credit Union Central will also use the London vendor's Eagleye monitoring software and its Opics Risk Plus market risk and portfolio management application.

The applications' real-time reporting capabilities will give the trade group immediate access to data that could affect its investment strategies, Misys said.
