CapStar Bank in Nashville, Tenn., has hired a former executive at Bank of America (BAC) as its chief financial officer.
Rob Anderson succeeded Lynn Rhodes as CFO on Monday. Rhodes, who was the company's first CFO, will remain at CapStar as it senior vice president of finance.
Anderson has more than two decades of experience in the financial sector, including stints at Bank of America and Capital One (COF), the $928 million-asset CapStar said Friday. Most recently he was a senior vice president of business performance management with B of A, leading the global wholesale banking technology and operations group. He also held several finance roles at Bank of America, including CFO of business banking, a unit within the company's commercial bank.
Between two different tenures at B of A, Anderson was a senior vice president at Capital One Bank and the CFO of Capital One's commercial bank.
