ICVerify Inc. said it reached an agreement to integrate its card authorization software with Oracle Corp. electronic commerce products.
The agreement calls for the creation of a "payment cartridge" for the Oracle Web Application Server, Oracle Internet Commerce Server, and future Oracle products.
The availability of ICVerify's system gives system developers and integrators "an additional choice for fulfilling the payment processing needs of their customers," said Beatriz Infante, senior vice president of Oracle's application server division. "This strategic agreement ensures that we will continue to offer our customers the widest possible range of safe, reliable payment options."
ICVerify chairman and founder Steven M. Elefant said its systems are already being used by "thousands of Internet businesses," and the Oracle agreement provides an additional sales outlet.
