NationsBank Corp. said Friday that it will issue Cooking Light, Health, Parenting, and Sunset Visa cards.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based bank has expanded a relationship with Time Publishing Ventures that began in 1994 with the cobranded Southern Living Visa card.
In a release, Eileen M. Friars, president of NationsBank Card Services, said: "The knowledge we've gained from our Southern Living Visa card will benefit us tremendously as we market the new TPV cards. It also gives us a foothold in the publishing field for the marketing of future cobranded cards."
Cardholders receive an unlimited 1% rebate on all purchases made with the new cards. Rewards points are issued through the cardholders' statements in increments of 500. The new Rewards program also will be extended to the Southern Living Visa. The points are transferable among the Time cards.
Points can be used to buy products from Time Publishing Ventures, such as magazine subscriptions, as well as specially priced books from Oxmoor House and Sunset Publishing Corp. Products from the catalog can be purchased only with Reward$ points or a Time Publishing Ventures Visa card.
Southern Living and Cooking Light Visa cardholders receive 5% cash back on selected vacation packages booked through those magazines and charged on the card.
